Michael Metcalf - Chairman and CEO
As chairman and CEO, Michael Metcalf brings over 26 years experience in the telecom and speech recognition industries.
He is a serial entrepreneur, having previously founded and managed a number of successful companies. He was founder,
CEO and chairman of SpeechPhone LLC, a cloud based unified communications service provider. He also founded and was
CEO and chairman of Sound Advantage LLC, provider of on site speech recognition based messaging platforms and earlier
in his career he founded and managed Telwest Inc, an interconnect and systems integrator.
Tracy Roberts - Chief Product Officer
As the chief product officer for Voice Assist, Ms. Roberts, has responsibility for product strategy, product design and development as
well as the overall user experience. She brings to this role over 25 years of experience in new product development to Voice Assist,
having brought to market innovative products and services in speech technology, mobile products and services, web services and communication
solutions. Previously, she led product development at SpeechPhone and was instrumental in the design and development of the original
Voice Assist functionality. Before that, Ms. Roberts was Vice president of Marketing for Loquendo (Telecom Italia) – a
speech technology products and services provider. Previously, Ms. Roberts was also the Senior Director of Product Management for AltaVista,
providing product leadership during its formative days which helped it grow to be one of the top ten most trafficked web sites globally.
She was also responsible for the launch of AltaVista Korea and international strategy for Asian markets. Ms. Roberts has also held a number
of product and user experience leadership positions at Nortel Networks and Bell-Northern Research in the U.S. and Canada.
Dean Weber - Chief Technology Officer
As CTO, Mr. Weber is responsible for the overall vision and direction of the company's technology. He brings over 20 years experience in the
voice technology, telecom and mobile industries. As a pioneer in voice technology, Dean launched the industry's first virtual personal assistant
in 1998 with several issued patents that he recently sold to Apple. As an entrepreneur, Dean has founded and successfully launched startups
both private and public. He has negotiated and closed multi-year service agreements with international tier-1 carriers including TELMEX, Telcel,
MTNL along with regional US carriers. Prior to Voice Assist, Dean was founder and CEO of One Voice Technologies, developing and launching voice
solutions for the telecom, mobile and personal computing sectors. Dean currently volunteers as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence with the University
of California San Diego (UCSD) CONNECT Springboard program, a globally recognized non-profit organization fostering entrepreneurship in the
technology and life sciences sectors.
Donna Moore - Chief Financial Officer
Donna S. Moore is a business financial professional with over 25 years of
hands-on business experience. Ms. Moore has held positions as controller,
secretary, and treasurer of both public and private corporations. Her
experience includes general accounting, financial reporting, systems
implementation/management, treasury functions, and cost accounting. Ms.
Moore specializes in executing uniform financial controls so as to improve
productivity, reduce costs, and maximize profitability. Ms. Moore holds a
Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and an MBA in finance and
accounting from Brigham Young University. After 32 years in Connecticut, she
and her husband now live in Phoenix, Arizona.
